I've been on that story since the SC last decision ... Some I've found think... well they pay taxes so... but since justices effectively are appointed for life it seems to have worked out that Reagan still has a few appointees ...... four are Dem appointees out of nine... Nominees need Senate confirmation so they have a hand in it no ? Last SC vote was 5-4... to not restrict corporate contributions.. GOP pick their boys/girls and Dems theirs... so is it on the prez... or the system ? Obvious which way each prez will lean... Still think only two choices causes problems all around.. JMO..
