Yes, today was definitely strange....hong kong up....tokyo down.... blue chips up.....techs down....compaq down, strong finish...WEIRD. I have noticed recently that CPQ starts strong and finishs weak... nearly every day! As of 8:25 tokyo was up about 450, although it was up over 600 at one point, and hong kong is yet to open. There is resistance at 70.....which is about the 50 moving average...a strong close above 67.5 and we can make a serious run at 70 with good news. I agree about the server prices being perceived as a negative...and like you, i couldnt find much on dell.....the rest of the techs werent down nearly as much. RichieH
