Not have become. Always was. I was never a fiscal liberal. I've always been a fiscal conservative. Obama used to talk about bringing fiscal sanity to Washington, but it turns out it was all talk. Serves me right for trusting a politician with my vote. The only people who love Paul are fiscal AND social conservatives. That should tell you something about Ron Paul...........the guy who opposes the civil rights laws of the 1960s. I find it interesting how you just gloss over those facts. On other issues, I'm liberal, but not on economics. I don't believe anyone should spend more than they earn. It's bad for families, corporations, and government. The only place it is good is in ivory tower models that live only in the fairy tale dreams of academics and politicians. Business men who live it everyday know that reality is different. If you spend more than you earn, then the reckoning will come inevitably. Unfortunately for the US, the reckoning is hear now, on Obama's watch. Did he inherit a large deficit and debt? Yes. Did he make it worse? Hell yes. You have a very narrow view of nation state economics. The US has run a deficit more years than not and has done fine.........your Rs are the ones who let it go to excess and now you all are freaking about Obama who had no choice but to increase that deficit before reducing it. Acting like this is exceptional news is disgenuous at best and probably calculated at worst. Did he prosecute any of the criminals as the laws and regulations on the books demand? No. That is what the Executive Branch was created for...to execute the law. Obama is derelict and must be removed. Just as Bush Jr. fooled me once, so has Obama. Bush Jr didn't get my vote the second time around and neither will Obama. Obama isn't fooling you.......Ron Paul is.
