Ron Paul is a favorite of the survivalist set. These are those "rugged" individualists who play soldier in the woods with their armalight semi auto rifles, probably would love to get their hands on a rocket launcher (to bring down those black UN helicopters) and stockpile canned food, hoard bullion, have read all the Ayn Rand Pulps 10x over and have memorized their fav. passages and quote them regularly etc., etc.. You get the picture.
