A couple of points. I don't gloss over some of the extreme positions that Ron Paul takes. I'm well aware of them. However, I'm a practical voter. I don't expect perfection in the politicians I vote for. Rather, I determine what my priorities are and then I vote for the candidate that most lines up with those. Right now, my number one priority is a restoration of free markets and restraint on the Fed, as well as prosecution and incarceration of the banksters. In addition, I want for the US to stop being the world cop and close many of our useless bases and bring our troops home. Ron Paul is the most aligned with those goals.

Second point. As I've repeatedly said, and I know you know this because you read my posts, I have been in full throated criticism of the GOP for their fiscally conservative ways. I was called a liberal for those views on other threads that were populated with GOP members. Get that. I was called a liberal because I criticized a Republican President and Congress for their liberal fiscal policies. LOL.

So now that we have a Democratic regime, I continue to voice my very consistent dismay at the liberal fiscal and monetary policies being employed.

So here is the fact. I am consistent. Both parties are at fault. Neither knows what the hell they are doing. The American populace is waking up to this fact as evidenced by the OWS movement. Everyone knows something is terribly wrong with these policies and everyone is pointing the finger at exactly the right place. Wall Street and all the crony capitalism that is enriching Wall Street and politicians alike.

The reckoning is hear folks. The only question now is what side you find yourself on. I for one am going to be on the right side of history and it's not on the side of the banksters.
