And I'm also not sure what happens if you decide to enter a country where there is a (unenforceable in the US) judgment against you. As far as I know, nothing happens unless there is a contempt ruling against individuals and subsequent Warrant of Committal ( en.wikipedia.org ). In Canada contempt of court is a quasi-criminal matter. I only skimmed the article, but this stuck me as absurd bordering on irrational. Also defendants are GoDaddy Inc., which registered the deepcapture.com domain name, and NoZone Inc., which hosts the website. The suit further names search provider Google Inc. and its Canadian subsidiary, which publishes a list of links to the defamatory statements along with brief quotes. Registered in the USA. Hosted in the USA. Suing the registrar and the ISP? Good luck with that. They may be able to get Google to take down the links in Canada, but worldwide? Doubtful.
