Manalagi, I absolutely do know how to fix the economy better than Obama.Given my background vs Obama's, I have far more technical and educational expertise and experience than he does when it comes to economic matters. His economic team's policies have been a failure and have been tantamount to giving more heroin to the heroin addict. My solutions would include taking away the heroin. It would be painful, but would be sure to cure the addict and give him a new lease on life.

Now having said all that, I have to give Obama credit where credit is due. Looks like he's taking on one of the biggest criticisms I've had of Obama's. I hate the too big too fail banks. I've always said that if they are Too Big Too Fail, then we must seize them, break them up, and sell off the pieces, so that they are no longer too big to fail. We did it to Ma Bell, the old AT&T, as well as the Oil and Railroad companies, we can most certainly do the same to these Too Big Too Fail banks. Anyway, Obama is appointing Hoenig to lead the FDIC. He is one of the most vocal critics of easy money policy and a heavy critic of Too Big Too Fail banks, and Hoenig was a former Fed Reserve member.

Hoenig is a great pick for the FDIC. This shows really good judgement on Obama's part. It also shows that he may actually have listened and been influenced by the Occupy Wall Street crowd. Good for him. That's a good start. Now I want more. He has a year to take the other steps I've outlined in these threads, if he wants to win my vote.
