Food inflation should be battled by making more food available, not by raising interest rate. What is wrong w/ poor farmers making more money? Nothing. What is the matter with more people able to want more n better food and be able to pay for such with higher wages and real income gain? Again, not coincidentally, nothing. Food inflation is good, the more the better.
