(picking back through the barrage...) <here's a thought: COMS buys WSTL. the TXN/AMTX-WSTL/USRX/COMS-SIE team vs. the ALA-CSCO team vs. the AWRE-ADI-ASND team vs. ORCTF-Fujitsu.> With continuing consolidation, I'm thinking that PAIR has yet to introduce it's Falcon chip, and wondering if LU will let this DSP party go without an offering. bill c., whaddya think the chances we'll see a LU-PAIR? And I haven't seen any answer or speculation yet - but what all does TXN GET for $400MM? Are Cioffi et al now signed onto the TXN payroll? As I made the point earlier, if TXN DOESN'T get the engineering talent for future ADSL incarnations, then they REALLY overpaid. Steve
