I know. That is why the American people are largely ignorant of what is going on with these financial institutions. I think you need a pretty good finance and economics background to even understand it. Then you have to really do your homework to study it. I have many friends who have the same or better finance and economics background than I do and they are ignorant of what is going on, because they don't do the reading I do.

So it is no wonder Americans don't know. However, the problem with lack of knowledge is that they will make the wrong choices in who they vote for, which means we have a low probability of solving these problems. I personally have bet my portfolio on the eventual re-implosion of our economy due to the same problems we had in 2008. I won't get back into stocks until all the central manipulation is over and until stock retest the March 2009 lows. For me, this isn't political. It's just common sense. I don't know when the stock market will retest the March 2009 lows, but I believe the whole systems is so fraught with risk right now due to central economy planning and the heroin approach to the economy, that stocks are a casino. It's pure gambling at this point. It is not a free market capital allocation mechanism any more. Not when there is open manipulation by the Fed and the associated banks.

Anyway, enough said on that. :)
