Eric; Perhaps they should send messages to the Germans, "stand here" at a known point. Might work. Eric. "stand here" A friend of mine is Canadas most decorated war hero. He is an EE who operated a tube radar from a spitfire over Malta with all armaments removed. This would fly high and spot the jerry planes going after convoys of allied ships supplying North Africa, the jerries were also attacking Malta. He was shot down almost a dozen times, as the radar weight made them remove all guns/ammo. Jerry tried to sink Malta. If they had the war in North Africa would have been lost. Bill
