It's not a matter of how I feel.

Roosevelt died in April 1945 (THREE months into his last term) leaving Truman to be president for the next 3 3/4 years----through the ending of World War Two and a number of other momentous doings.

In comparison Johnson's 'presidency' after Kennedy was killed lasted barely a year.
