Once Lucent joins the anti Wintel effort watch out You know I feel really sorry for Intel investors, to the extent I can ever feel sorry for such an arrogant bunch of ...'s. Next year you guys are going to begin to feel what I call the Borland effect. The Borland effect is the commoditization of the CPU. As in just another part in the system. Perhaps you read the article about weekly meetings of IBM, SUNW, ORACLE, NOVL, etc. etc. HAving put all of your eggs in the monopoly basket you guys are about become a real basket case. I even expect someone to come up with a new PC based OS. Something that runs JAVA based apps better than MSFT. Then WIntel is history. Too bad for all for you, living on past glories and expecting that your stock will just go up and up and up. ====================== Getting screwed is just what most Intel investors on this thread deserve.
