For those interested, below is a list of the stocks that have performed the best on their earnings report days so far this season (for companies that report after the close, we use the next day's change). As shown, State Street (STT) ranks first with a gain of 10.69% on its report day, followed by Fairchild Semiconductor (FCS), Bank of America (BAC), Brown & Brown (BRO), Intuitive Surgical (ISRG), and Apollo Group (APOL). Other notable stocks on the list of earnings season winners include VMware (VMW), WD-40 (WDFC), Domino's Pizza (DPZ), Travelers (TRV), Google (GOOG), and Goldman Sachs (GS). All of the stocks listed below gained more than 5% on their report days.
