Hi Eric:

I think they will find 35% ends up being too high. It's Gate's money but DDT should be the answer.

DDT was baned in the U.S. in 1970 (appx) and by 1976 Lyme started to show itself. I'm speculating but Lyme increase is due to the increase in ticks (in Connecticut they are abundant) and the deer population.

Ticks also carry babesia which is similar to Lyme and not easy to detect.

With what happened with the Lymrex vaccine (by the same company preparing this malaria vaccine. Long story but with the FDA trial the subjects showed no adverse auto immune effects yet once approved and in practice many started coming down with auto immune diseases Epstien Barr, Arthritis to name two. Now when I imply there were no adverse auto immune in the Phase trials it came out at a law suit trial one of the lead MD's filed a patent for a molecule as this molecule has less adverse auto immune effect.

Somehow the Phase trial write up didn't match with actual practice and this MD's capitalist ambition. Right after the trial the FDA met with the company and the company pulled the vaccine due to lack of sales.

I follow malaria in the sense the ticks carry babesia parasites.
