POWs vs the Dow -- Not a pretty picture!
--------------------------------------------
Just exactly HOW have the POWs done during the DOWs recent correction?
Today the DOW closed higher than the day before the big drop on
10/27/97. Below are the numbers for the POWs on 10/24/97 and today.

Quick summary:
Best performer: RECY! (+12%)
Worst performer: NOIZ (-16.9%)

Beating the DOW: ATPX,MLOG,RADAF,RECY,SEEQ,VCR
Beaten by the DOW: APCO,BLSC,BOSCF,CADE,DIGL,HURC,MTON,NOIZ,RLLY,TRIBY

Total Performance: -40.8% (assumes equal amount of $ in each POW)
Total Performance without BLSC: -26.3% (I think Doug dropped BLSC)

Clearly, the POW portfolio has taken a severe beating.
Full numbers are below. Any comments?
