I'm not presently running my full surround rig, sadly. My Paradigm Signature series center channel and dipolar surround speakers are in storage.

I have the Paradigm S4 speakers going in stereo, with a Velodyne SP-1200, servo-controlled subwoofer, which is both earth-shaking and very precise. The system works well in our living room, and setting up the other three speakers would be a bit of a pain, as you say. But when those other speakers are running, too, it's mind boggling how much you can hear. And I have had chronic tinnitus since the late 70s.

Here's the S4 without its grill.

Damn, that's really not big enough. ;-) In real life, they're more of a compact looking thing, but they're surprisingly deep. About 18 inches front to back. Mine are in cherry, just like this, and I do have the stand you see here, which is optional.
