The dollar has lost 98% of its value against the things you care about, because you buy them every day, like milk, bread, gasoline.

As for our government stealing, it's not about our government stealing to make itself richer. That only happens in dictatorships. Rather, our government has been stealing to increase the wealth of the top 1%, who hold all the levers of power in this country. Look no further than the divide between the rich and poor. Not only has it increased to the highest gap in history, but that gap is accelerating. The policies of Bush and now Obama are increasing the wealth of the top 1% at an unbelievable pace. Those same policies are socialism for the rich and austerity for the masses. It's nothing more than grandest of all larcenies.
