Interesting tidbit. I can say with a certainty that anything a SyJet can do can be done by a JazII, at least. The throughput of the JazII is greater than that of the SyJet.

You can certainly record and mix music on a regular Jaz drive, too. While the SyJet is marginally faster, the difference is not enough to really matter.

The Rocket drive does sound as if it would great for this type of application, though, having very large capacity and good throughput numbers.
