There is a difference between debating an issue for clarity and debating an issue to win an arugment. I am just discussing the ideas with my friends here to establish clarity. Nothing more. I care about winning nothing. IMO, we all just have part of the puzzle. You may want to examine your feelings as well, and whether you are being a bit more defensive than you need to be. You once got very upset with me for posting the same article you had. I didn't know you had posted it, but still It should have been a non event. Who cares if an article is posted twice? I never understood that one? If someone disagrees with me or feels I get something wrong I hope they will point it out. That is how we learn. You are much more articulate than I. Your answer to my question about Obama's book was textbook perfect. I am not that good a writer. I respect everyone on this thread and that is a truism. But if we do not exchange ideas we will not grow our in our understanding. Plato called Debate the highest form of human behavior: "the clashing of the minds". Debating issues is how we learn. We are all equal students here. I hope.
