Cisco,

I saw that piece by the Fools regarding the suits when it came out.
I was/am happier than a pig in slop. If your spending money on litigation then...well there is less money to spend on marketing, R&D, salaries and business in general.

Wasn't that an awfully large statement for AutoCyte (ACYT) to make?
It certainly smacks of....something.... that they should/could be sued for. How does misrepresentation sound? They are sitting on about 15.62 M in cash.

Chroma Vision certainly sounds like they are going to get into a big scrap right off the-get-go. I mean come on now boys you just came public! Could be an early TKO in the first round for CVSN?

There has got to be some massive shorting potential out of this collage of litigation. Might be hard to figure the winners and the losers right now.

It might all boil down to how much cash each is sitting on. Heres where they each stack up in that department:

ACYT has as mentioned, a substantial $15.62 M in cash.
CVSN had about $29.2 M in cash from their recent offering proceeds.
CYTYC is holding a mammoth $93.26 M.
NPTH is holding a whopping $43.04 M.
NSIX is hoarding a massive $62.1 M.
and last but not least the welter-weight;
ACMI which had better not get onto the sparring mat with any of them, as they have only a dismal $0.9 M in cash. Barely enough for a retainer. True they are sitting on some accounts receivable but..... ...something has to help pay the bills and salaries, besides shareholders.

Maybe its best that ACMI keep their head down and let the other titans exhaust their cash reserves. Some-one or two will come out as real power-houses in the end. The question is, "in how many years, and how much damage to the sector before all is said and done?"

Confounded line wraps, I thought those went out with DOS ?

Thanks

Frank
