While I will find many reasons to fault Obama, if a friend came to town and wanted to go to a cool place for a meal, I would send them directly to Roscoes Chicken and Waffles. However, I would definitely send them to the Hollywood location and not the West LA spot.

And I would recommend the Scoe's Special #2 with two breasts smothered in gravy (extra breast is + $1) (make sure you get enough gravy to dip your waffles!)

In fact, shortly after my son was born, I brough my son to Roscoe's to have lunch with MPH.

I don't see this as so much of an image thing as Roscoe's is a really cool L.A. eatery.
