It will take ONE, just ONE, of the missiles to hit an airliner over NYC or Vegas to substantially affect US air travel. Two of them would totally shut it down.

I agree with you about this. Arab Spring could have been handled in a way that would have been productive. But I agree the "leading from behind" was a disaster.
