I dunno you are way too liberal for me but we are different ages and have had vastly different life experiences.. I am not gonna be a bleeding heart liberal for anyone these days except children, the sick and elderly. I am a first generation product of immigrants, my parents and grandparents had no history of education from their modest upbringing in agriculture with no running water or electricity, no bilingual education growing up here in the states, grew up in a lower middle class rough hood in Queens, no preferential treatment when in fact it was always the opposite since we are white and expected to assimilate fast or fall far behind. I think like two thirds of us in my extended family of the baby boomer generation and younger all born here in the USA have masters degrees now, are fully assimilate to our culture with few even speaking any other language, no criminal records, no welfare that I am aware of in maybe a pool of several hundred people.. Don't you think it comes down to your family upbringing and values first and foremost today?
