You'd have to come live in places like South Florida, NYC, much of LA, southern border towns, or work in various aspects of construction to understand the white man who is not well to do is often at a disadvantage because he is white and speaks English only. I doubt up in Alaska many job opportunities require that you speak spanish. Also I think the country is a lot different place than it was 30 years ago in our demographics and opportunties for minorities and even woman versus especially the white man.. I don't disagree on programs for disadvantaged youth and free education with you just see some other things from a different perspective. The white man who is not well off is also hurting a great deal these days and it is compounded in much of this country by factors out of his control so should he now be given a handout too? I would think an Obama/Cain presidential race would do wonders for the advancement of younger AA's moving forward and empowering themselves through education and building skill levels than anything else. I already see much of that positive thinking in the younger AA generation with Obama at the forefront in my world
