Well, differences of opinions is what makes for horse races. He is way ahead in Ohio and Florida (two of the most important states). And the polls I saw were not within the margin of error and even there were some I still saw none where he was not ahead.

But the theory I am working from is that the polls show an appetite for a major populist movement and the polls show people want taxes raised on the rich, union rights restored, Wall street criminals prosecuted corporations paying their fair share and jobs bills passed, affordable education and universal health care and out of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Those are all left wing ideas and what Obama actually ran on.
