Guys! Try to judge the surroundings based on facts and numbers and not because you work for Netscape and/or bought in its stock in the 40-60 range. Clear your glasses, please and get rid of jealousy!

Microsoft was like Netscape years ago and it survived only because it had talents, ideas and product. It's goal was to bring new operating systems etc, not to kill IBM and/or others. Netscape is there "to kick MS's butt." That's the problem.

Microsoft did not create a "similar product." Their browser is better and it wins not because it is offered for free (the fact that it is offered for free goes to timing only--several months earlier or later), but because IE-4 is superiour.

I have no connections with either Microsoft or Netscape and I see the evidence that IE-4 is better than Communicator every day.

If you want to win, you got to create. THERE IS NO PLAIN LEVEL FIELD. NEVER HAS BEEN. Wake up, this is life.
