Part of the reason I asked is because my original caveat was left off the short selling article which appeared on this thread.

The caveat said there could be problems later, when trying to sell. Riley and Clarksburg conveniently left this off of the article.

So having your certificates effectively cost you money, a bunch of time, a lot of hassle, etc.

This is what I was talking about. Did they have to verify the certificate would clear before they let you sell? And what firm was it?
