To be honest, I don't know bankruptcy law very well. I've heard of cases where the shareholders don't lose all of their equity after a company files for Chapter 11, but I think that's the exception. I've been watching Marvel Entertainment very closely to see what happens in their case. There have been several restructuring deals proposed and none favored the existing shareholders.

If you decide to invest, just be sure that you can afford to lose all of that money and have no regrets. Good luck.
