Obama has done so well on the foreign policy front because he has a very good team. Where is his good economic team I wonder. If his economic team is all that good, then why hasn't it performed with the shining colors that the foreign affairs team has performed? I wonder, President, what accountability is he requiring from his economic team. I am sure Obama realizes that his job is like that of a CEO who brings together teams that perform similar to what Jobs did.

Where is Geithner and what has he done is the question I ask. Granted Obama's job performance has dipped below the 50% mark. But his personal popularity still remains high. And I hope he uses his high personal popularity numbers to prop up his job performance numbers by seeking the accountability from Geithner and his team. It is good that he desires to keep in touch with the pulse of the people by reading the letters he gets. But it is also important for him to walk those departments such as Treasury etc. and ensure that there is no internal personal politics at play that is preventing good people to perform.
