Indeed it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time; but there is the broad feeling in our country that the people should rule, continuously rule, and that public opinion, expressed by all constitutional means, should shape, guide and control the actions of Ministers who are their servants and not their masters.

The system we have is imperfect, and can never be made perfect. The problems of democracy cannot be solved, but only managed.
If you got the anarchy and world chaos you crave, and order was eventually achieved, not in your lifetime and surely not in mine, the system that future human beings could create would be no better. We'd still be the same imperfect people we are now. Right now, after thousands of years of effort, the people rule. In anarchy and chaos, only the strong rule.
