Lack of volume the last few days really calls into question the lasting nature of this rally. Last week I thought for sure that the volume in October would lead to a sustainable breakout move for the market. But now I'm not so sure. We might not even see enough volume today to get a higher volume up month than we had on the selling last month. That is truly surprising to me what with us now being in the midst of earnings season. The S&P Mid Cap 400 looks good however adding to my confusion as it has healthy up volume for the month. RtS
