I know. Ron Paul won't get elected President, but he'll still get my vote.

I also think we can afford a social safety net the size of the one Roosevelt envisioned. That means maybe 2-5 years of retirement payments that come from the money the retiring generation already put into the system. Roosevelt, nor I, believe in a system that will pay out 20 years worth of payments taken from future generations.
