The Dems need to let us fix SS and Medicare and the GOP needs to let us raise taxes. Everyone needs to get real and stop living in fantasy land. That I agree with. Yes the system is seriously fuked up... and politics/money has a whole bunch to do with it. But we can't throw out all the good things that have been put in over generations, in a fit of anger. Have to attack the real problems. Not so easy to do.
