agree, but offer these points:

1) ADSL is a big pie and ORCTF will get a slice
2) one of the few remaining pure plays in xDSL
3) up-and-comer in the HDSL space
4) VDSL
5) attractive buyout candidate for LU, Fujitsu, or PAIR
6) not strapped for cash

if ORCTF has been bluffing about not needing AMTX patents in order to be standards compliant, TXN will call the bluff in a second once the deal is closed. i expect ORCTF to licence just before the Fujitsu ADSL chips are ready.
