SolarWinds Broadens Asia-Pacific Reach, Sets Sights on Japanese Market

Partnership With Marubeni Information Systems Will Assist the Company in Its
Expansion of Its Powerful, Affordable and Easy to Use IT Management Product
Portfolio Into Japan's Dynamic IT Market

BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA, Nov 01, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- SolarWinds(R) Inc.
(SWI), a leading provider of powerful and affordable IT management software,
today announced that its international business is expanding its presence in the
Japanese market by making key investments, including creating a Japanese language
website, the translation and localization of its products, and creating a
dedicated, native Japanese-speaking support team based in Brisbane, Australia. In
addition, SolarWinds announced that it will enter into partnerships with leading
Japanese companies, including Marubeni Information Systems, in order to promote
and sell its unique IT management portfolio to Japanese customers.

SolarWinds' network management products, including the company's flagship
product, SolarWinds Orion Network Performance Monitor (NPM) and modules like
SolarWinds Network Traffic Analyzer (NTA), will lead the company's entrance into
the Japanese market. These products are the foundation for SolarWinds growth and
brand success, and are gaining significant traction internationally -- as they
already have in the United States.

Japanese businesses and their IT departments will also have the opportunity to
experience the company's other IT management products, including SolarWinds
Virtualization Manager; SolarWinds Storage Manager; and SolarWinds Application
Performance Manager (APM).
