Thank you, andrew. AMES could not afford it last year without a loss depreciating the NCR purchase. We delayed it until the software can be improved. The software has object technology with derivative generators, I hope, would have helped AMES purchasing to place orders. Instead the upscale program helped AMES increased to 1200 vendors. The new software would not have been effective under this dynamic situation of constant increase of new vendors.

While NCR is a great company, we could not let them create a situation where AMES stockholders would suffer losses for many years of depreciation. Currently, old IBM POS is just about the best among the likes of Caldor, Bradlee, etc. Try and shop else where and you will notice the speed of check out and the accuracy of their POS system. The concept is to take in the right amount of money as quickly as you can. Save labor, no fuss, good customer loyalty, good word of mouth advertizing, etc. etc. etc.--------------------
