LOL....are you comfortably numb yet, or do we need to build the walls higher? Men can not thrive and be themselves if they live in a polluted and corrupt environment...I can not will others to strive to be and become all they can be or to be just and honest. I do not share your values of slavery and I do not accept that others must be slaves especially in support of a master as in reality we are not just slaves to ourselves but what others expect of us and the ideas and values they place on us. I am what I am not what I shall become...if you place me in a hostile environment I become hostile, if you chain me to your expectations I am subject to disappoint if I can not break free of my restraints and my energy is spent trying to be free... what have I achieved if being free was the greatest achievement I could allow myself? What a man learns about struggle can not be taught to another man nor can a society benefit from his experience if others are made to experience the same bonds? There is no advancement to achieve greater things if each lesson or struggle or obstacle must be overcome anew...any knowledge of self dies with the self and society gains nothing no matter how technology advances. If man was meant to be a machine he would be a machine. Machines are made to serve man and help him with the labor of drudgery and free him to do other things and achieve greater things for himself his family and society....we owe a debt to our ancestors who have toiled and sacrificed that we may have and hold a better life than they had and that we may also pass what we have gained to our posterity.. Today the future is stolen, mortgaged and spent by others and those who wish not to be enslaved by this greed and avarice because of a few's desire to oppress and steal what they have not slaved and toiled for is not greatness or self reliance but the reliance of others to become slaves is not acceptable for the advancement of society or mankind.....you can not repress and enslave mankind and expect the human spirit to achieve it's greatest accomplishments if all the energy is spent trying to get free of these restraints....ie: debt burdens that can not be paid ever......a committee or corporation is not a person nor is a government a government if it does not respect a person as an individual unique spirit and not a number or possession to be exploited. Reality is what exists not what we wish it to be. It's true I'm an idealist and expect more from life and society....so I dream of things that never were, and ask why not? Since time is the moving image of eternity it is a philosophical idea that reality needs an observer while others propose that only one's own mind is sure to exist and that knowledge of anything outside one's own mind is unsure. The external world and other minds cannot be known, and might not exist outside the mind, further to the conclusion that the world and other minds do not exist....so, I can also say your values are meaningless to me since they are not my own and I do not share them?<g> LOL......it's all about values, is there time to acquire them .......if they don't exist in others?<g> youtube.com
