I agree - it is a two-edged sword ... that is why I think that Russia may be the place they go to get it. I recall reading a post - wish I had bookemarked - that suggested one of Japan's key financial figures was recently (and very quietly) meeting with some Russian players involved in the gold biz. The meeting was held at a time when the world's eyes were focused on other international events - which is likely the reason it was held when it was.

Do these issues remain unresolved ? .... I was under the impression that there was still some problems in this area - I should check into this in more detail.

In any event, this is all just speculation - who _really knows what the future of gold is going to be. I hope for us goldbugs it is up.
