For the past 10 months, Congress has gotten out of the way and it hasn't worked.

Kenneth,
Obamacare is still hanging over the heads of businesses. This creates uncertainty which in turn causes businesses to not hire.

If congress wants to do something productive, then they should repeal Obamacare.

You are wrong about doing nothing not working. An important thing to understand about economies is that they are cyclical. Throw in a variable and the market will react, but it will eventually recover on its own. Keep on throwing in variables and it never has a chance to fix itself.

But right now, after having some uncertain economic times, companies are starting to spend. At some point the pent up demand outweighs the uncertainty. And I am seeing very positive signs that businesses are opening their wallets.

One thing that our government needs to learn is that sometimes the best thing to do is nothing at all.
