Did we give Osama the protection of a statute........??

Nope, but then again he was an enemy combatant located in Pakistan.

But I'm pretty sure that you don't really believe a word that you are saying. Any sane person would see that the guy is an ass and that he abused his daughter. He's not a guy who I would want to hang with. If it was within the statute of limitations, I would fully support prosecuting the guy.

You've just found a symbolic case for how you stereotype conservatives and are taking the argument to the extreme. I am certain that even you understand that there is nothing that can be done in the courts. But certainly if you want to lead the charge to have him shunned by society, you should do this. Or if you truly believe that he needs to be punished, well, why would you let the laws stop you? you know what is right, so go do what needs to be done. Or do you not have the courage of your convictions to actually act on what you think needs to be done?
