It looks to be quite clear now that Corzine wrecked MFGlobal with terribly bad bets on European sovereign debt. And overleveraged the firm. To the extreme. But, to repeat my previous posts, the charge of criminal activity lies in the missing money. And it's not clear that criminal activity was involved. It may well turn out to be such. But as of this morning it was not.
