Huxley...isn't he one of the guys that did the shit Rimbaud drank, absinthe? Anyway, what are your favorite Coltrane albums? Music doesn't share much with philosophy, I think, kinda like bicycling vs driving. I've always loved Wes & Miles, and plenty other shit. Too much compartmentizing in philosophy to compete with good music. Good philosophy helps you appreciate music even more, but not the other way around. Here's a thought, a beginning: the fucking videos made it possible for MTV to foist bad music on us, cause we'd be lookin at the naked broads. But now, as grown men, we are forced to listen to someone's fuckin jukebox pick while we're watching a ball game on the bar's TV. If you don't think that's a backassward way to live life, your name is longshort.
