wow for real? i didnt follow russia index maybe i should have. I dont know that greece is noise more than anything else in the headlines. Ive long given up ascribing reasons as to why the market as a whole goes up or down, except as it relates to the release of certain economic numbers or commentary of ceos of big companies. what i do now is that my technical indicators show that for the first time in quite awhile xlf is a buy and i figure that has to be a big positive for the market as a whole especially if the trend continues. then the question becomes do i stick with xlf or buy more of the investment bankers like ms or gs. after all we all know that the facebook ipo which doubtless be a 2012 event will enrich the coffers of both ms and gs.
