Except that none of the root causes of the last collapse have been resolved. When it blows up again, it will be an order of magnitude worse. See, that's the difference between us. You are giving satisfied with a weak recovery and a resolution that left the cancer intact, because you just want to feel good for the next couple of years. I am not satisfied until the cancer is cut out and the patient has undergone chemotherapy, because I want to maximize the probability of a good long term prognosis

The cancer was not left intact. Part of the reason why the recovery is so weak is that the bank pedulum has swung the other way and they are afraid to lend at all. One need take one look at their stock charts to see how badly they are doing:

Even on Wall street, if it was business as usual, the stock charts of the big investment firms.....GS and MS......would not look so pathetic:

Their stocks have never recovered from 2008. And they are the only major investment banks left.

Can more be done? Of course, the wealthy and the corps in this country have gotten out of control. We need to reign in the hedge funds. Fortunately, they fear Obama to some degree.......and now the American people are rising up. We still have a chance to save our democracy.

However, the man to lead us is not Ron Paul..........in my view, he's part of the problem.
