Many a BJ has been delivered around a steering wheel.

OTOH, I have some real doubts about whether what was described ought to be disqualifying. One never knows the context surrounding those events. Was SHE the aggressor and left angry because she didn't get whatever it was she was after? Was she intoxicated? Or him?

There are two key points IMO:

a) There was no sexual harassment because she wasn't an employee and therefore it doesn't meet the statutory definition; and

b) He did not force the issue.

Krauthammer referred to it tonight as a "sexual assault", and that simply isn't true. He was not in a position of power over her and when told to back off he did. Period.

There isn't one of us posting here who hasn't had a sexual advance rebuffed at some point. That's what apparently happened. The details of whether the advance was too much, too fast, or inappropriate totally, is indeterminable. Even the two people present may well have different views of the situation. What IS known is that he didn't push it after he was aware she wasn't interested.

That has nothing to do with politics, however. If he can't adequately refute the charges publicly, he's finished. Republicans will crucify him because they're prudes; Democrats will crucify him because he's a Republican. He's in a no-win situation.
