(NEWSER) – A fifth woman has come forward to tell a sketchy-sounding story about Herman Cain. Former USAID employee Donna Donella, 40, tells the Washington Examiner that after giving a speech in Egypt for USAID in 2002, Cain asked Donella to set up dinner between him and a “lovely young lady” who had asked a question, “so I can give her a more thorough answer." Donella, suspicious, said no; she says Cain replied, “Then you and I can have dinner."

Eventually two female colleagues accompanied Donella and Cain to dinner, where she says there was no inappropriate sexual behavior—though he did leave them with the bill after ordering two $400 bottles of wine. “I couldn't swear that he had some untoward intentions, but we all thought his tone was suspect and we didn't feel comfortable putting him in touch with that woman,” she says now. Click for more from Cain, who will give a press conference “to set the record straight” today.
