TO THE THREAD. the moto weakness is a large part of the fall. Atmel has continued to state that moto is a 15% customer. So moto pre announce several months ago....atml effected. moto preannounced last week...atml effected. The big money is still short or selling in the money calls. If I hadn't been tied up in meetings friday morning i would have sold the sept 25 call too. This may change after this report or next so the link will not exsist. Watch all the negative news on moto and it's impact on Atmel. I was just in Olde friday. Broker didn't say anything about atmel earnings and they still have it a strong buy.
