>> Al, you seem more outraged by the small amount of mud that is sticking to Cain rather than the huge amount of mud that was slung at Cain.

Ten, you are so right about this. We had four (some news accounts said five) bimbo eruptions. Yet, two remain nameless, and two have come out. But the two who have come out are, mysteriously, delaying and delaying again presenting the "evidence". The attorney who spoke yesterday said, "We'll have another press conference, but we're going to give you 24 hours notice before we do" -- which by necessity, puts it off for several days. It just seems like they're trying to drag it out.

My guess is they're waiting for Cain to move up in the polls at which time they're going to try to drop the bomb and make it count even more.

That Cain is still standing at all right now is astonishing.

It says something about just how determined the established political class is to make sure an outsider doesn't get on the ticket.

When I was young, my brother and I fought like cats and dogs. But if anyone attacked either of us, they were attacking both of us. The Rs and the Ds will combine their efforts to keep an outsider outside.
