First of all, I'm not a Republican. That's just a convenient label you use for someone with a different opinion than yours. I'm an Independent and I've voted for Dems in the last two Presidential elections.
Your thinking is more Republican than you think.
Second, you are the one shilling for the rich. You have continually said on this thread that it is the right thing to do to continue bailing out the big banks, even though they have robbed us blind, destroyed our economy, and colluded to socialize their losses, while taking home millions in bonuses. I on the other hand have repeatedly railed against the big banks in favor of the 99% who are largely innocent in the economic destruction that the big banks have created.
I said, and I repeat, that at the time, bailing out the banks was the right thing to do. Had circumstances been less severe, I would have said no. And let's not forget it was GW Bush who did the bailouts......one of the few right things he did during his administration.
If anyone deserves to be called a Republican, it is you, who seem to have the same policy of being in bed with Wall Street as the worst of the Republicans do.
